Kai Havertz has set his sight on a transfer to Real Madrid, reports Sportbuzzer on Tuesday. The Spanish giants have reportedly made an offer for the attacking midfielder, which has been rejected by his club Bayer Leverkusen. It is believed that the current number four of the Bundesliga is demanding at least €100 million.
The report claims that both Real Madrid and Havertz are aware that Leverkusen has no intention of dropping their asking price. The Spanish club has also tried to include several players into the deal, but it is believed that Leverkusen has rejected that offer. It is unknown whether Real Madrid will be back with another offer for Havertz.
Chelsea are also interested in signing Havertz for next season and the Blues would be willing to meet Leverkusen’s demands. Blues owner Roman Abramovich is a big fan of the Germany international and it is believed the Russian has already spoken with both Havertz and his management over the phone to confirm their interest. Havertz has also been linked with moves to Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona and Manchester United, but it is believed that he prefers a move to Real Madrid.
