Paris Saint-Germain are having troubles finding a solution on what to do with Neymar. The Brazilian wants to leave the French giants to make a return to FC Barcelona. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic no club can afford to sign the Brazilian and that will put PSG under pressure.
Neymar’s current deal will expire at the end of 2022 and if the star does not sign a new deal, he will enter his last contract term at the end of next season lowering his transfer value significantly. Meanwhile, PSG would like to see a large part of the €225 million they paid Barcelona for Neymar coming back to Paris.
For that reason PSG has been trying to negotiate terms with Neymar and his management, but up until now talks have not been progressing. Le Parisien reports that talks between the two sides are at a standstill. A member of Neymar’s entourage was quoted: “We haven’t had a chance to talk about anything.”
