The chance FC Barcelona and Juventus will swap players this summer have grown larger over the past week. The two giants have been talking about a possible player swap between Arthur Melo and Miralem Pjanic and is has now been reported that an agreement could be closing in.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Brazilian midfielder Arthur is getting more open to the idea of leaving Barcelona and moving to Turin, despite declining the move and rejecting the offer made by Juventus for the past few weeks. Despite there not being a ‘yes’ just yet, Arthur is open to the idea of Juventus doubling his salary.
Meanwhile, Pjanic would be happy to leave Juventus this summer and move to Barcelona. The Bosnian midfielder is unhappy under Maurizio Sarri and would gladly leave the Italian giants behind. Should the final terms be agreed on, the deal is expected to go through by 30 June which would financially benefit both sides.
