Birmingham City wonderkid Jude Bellingham has rejected a move to Manchester United. Reports claim that the Red Devils have been speaking with the young English midfielder and even made an offer. However, Bellingham is set to join Borussia Dortmund in a move that could be worth €25m.
United tried to sign Bellingham during the January transferwindow, Metro reports. It is believed that Bellingham visited United’s Carrington training ground in March and even Sir Alex Ferguson was brought in to give the 16-year-old a guided tour of the club’s facilities, training ground and Old Trafford.
According to ESPN, Bellingham has decided not to sign for Manchester United and is close to agreeing a move to Borussia Dortmund instead. The Germans persuaded Bellingham with the prospect of first team football next season and could be completing the deal before the end of next week. Dortmund are expected to pay a fee around €25m, which is a similar deal to the one that saw them land Jadon Sancho.
