Frenkie de Jong has reacted very unhappy at FC Barcelona‘s medical staff after an initial misdiagnosis of his injury. According to esport3, the Dutch international is considering leaving the club on a temporary basis to go back to Holland to recover from his injury.
Official sources confirmed on Monday that De Jong has an injury in the soleus of his right leg. It is feared that the midfielder could miss several weeks, including Barcelona’s Champions League campaign against Napoli in August. Barcelona boss Quique Setien stated earlier he had hoped that De Jong’s injury would not be too alarming.
Catalan Cat Radio confirmed later on that the Barcelona dressing room is unhappy with the club’s medical services. Players have the feeling that there are inaccurate diagnoses, poorly planned recoveries and relapses when they were about to return from their injuries. Several players have made the choice to recover outside of the club due to the lack of confidence in the medical services of the club.
