Paris Saint-Germain have made a last-minute offer to renew Layvin Kurzawa’s contract. The France international has an expiring contract and was expected to leave the club this summer. El Mundo Deportivo now reports that the French giants had a change of thoughts and have now offered Kurzawa a new deal.
The experienced full-back was considered to be one of the major steals on the summer market as the 27-year-old has picked up 13 caps for the France national team and making 123 appearances for PSG. Kurzawa had attracted the interest from several teams in the Premier League and La Liga, including Atletico Madrid.
Kurzawa joined PSG in 2016 in a deal worth €25m from AS Monaco and has been a first team regular since joining the Parisians. As a PSG player he won 13 domestic trophies including three Ligue 1 titles in a row. This season his playing time had been limited to nine league games in total due to the prominence of Juan Bernat.
