Real Madrid file official complaint to La Liga about fixture schedule

According to Marca, Real Madrid have contacted the officials at La Liga to file an official complaint regarding their fixture schedule since the restart after the coronavirus pandemic lockdown. The club feels that they have a major disadvantage compared to their title and arch rivals FC Barcelona.

Madrid managed to claim top spot in La Liga after Barcelona failed to beat Sevilla (0-0), while they beat Real Sociedad 2-1. Since the restart of La Liga, Real Madrid have been forced play games every two or three days, while Barcelona had more days to rest between games.

Marca now claims that Real Madrid have made contact with the officials of La Liga about the schedule and are about to file an official complaint. Real Madrid and Barcelona are in a hefty title challenge this season. Both teams are on equal points (65) after 30 games but Real Madrid are on top because of they have better results between them and Barcelona.
