Jamie Redknapp feels Manchester United‘s Marcus Rashford and his attacking partners will get frustrated with Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese midfielder has made an impressive start at Old Trafford since his arrival at the club from Sporting Lisbon, but has also been a player who ‘shoots from whatever angle’.
Redknapp thinks that Fernandes’ approach to shoot from every angle could cause some problems at Manchester United as his forward partners could see him a ‘greedy’. However, the former England midfielder is in awe of Fernandes’ abilities and is sure that the Portugal international will prove to be a great asset for both United and the Premier League.
“My advice to any young, aspiring midfielders out there would be to study Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes“, Jamie Redknapp told the Daily Mail. “Look at how he strikes the ball when shooting from distance. Look at how he creates such a dip and swerve that it makes his shots more difficult to stop. It is not conventional, and it is not a fluke. It is done by design in order to bamboozle the goalkeeper.”
