Several big teams in Europe including Ajax and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked to sign Real Madrid‘s Japanese wonderkid Takefusa Kubo. The teenager has been impressing for Real Mallorca this season and with his performances he has attracted the interest of some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Accoprding to AS, Real Madrid would not have any intention to sell the seven-time Japan international, but would be open for a one or two season long loan spell. The Spanish giants signed Kubo last year from FC Tokyo and immediately sent him out on loan towards Mallorca. On the island he has scored 3 goals and provided 3 assists in 28 games.
It is believed that PSG are ‘very serious’ about the youngster and could even offer to double Kubo’s salary of €2m. Madrid, however, are not prepared to negotiate a fee and have made it clear that PSG will have to pay Kubo’s €250m release clause. Behind PSG it is reported that a total of 29 clubs are interested to sign the youngster.
The Spanish newspaper has made a list of the club who are interested: Ajax, Celtic, Lazio, AC Milan, Real Sociedad and Real Betis. It is also mentioned that 8 other Spanish clubs are seriously interested in signing Kubo. If Real Mallorca relegates from La Liga it seems likely that Madrid would want to send him out to another club on loan. Real Sociedad appears to be a leading candidate seeing the development of another Real Madrid wonderkid: Martin Odegaard.
