According to French outlet TF1, Tanguy Ndombele does not want to play for Tottenham Hotspur anymore. The French midfielder reportedly held a meeting with Jose Mourinho in which Ndombele told his manager he does not want to work with him anymore.
Ever since Mourinho took the helm at Tottenham, his relationship with Ndombele has not been on a good level. The Portuguese boss criticised the midfielder earlier this year questioning his mentality and fitness levels. After the meeting direct communication between Ndombele and Mourinho has been entirely cut.
Ndombele is a new signing at Tottenham Hotspur, joining the club in a deal worth €60m from Olympique Lyon last summer. While he has made a total of 19 Premier League appearances this season, he has not played a full Premier League match since december. Since the return of the league after the coronavirus lockdown, Ndombele has been sitting on the bench in both of Tottenham’s games with Manchester United (1-1) and West Ham United (2-0 win).
