Chelsea winger Pedro will join Roma when his contract expires at the end of the season. Sky Sports report that the Spanish winger has signed a contract for two seasons with the option for a third. Both clubs are yet to confirm the move but according to Sky Sports that will not be long.
Earlier reports claimed that Pedro had already agreed personal terms with the Romans several weeks ago and that he declined to play for Chelsea in fear of an injury. Despite these rumours Pedro signed a new short-term deal at Stamford Bridge which will keep him at the club until the end of August.
The 32-year-old experienced winger joined Chelsea in 2015 from FC Barcelona. He has made 135 Premier League appearances for the Blues, scoring 29 goals. As a player Pedro has collected an impressive list of honors and prizes throughout his career. He has won a total of 24 trophies, including three Champions Leagues & the Europa League with Barcelona and Chelsea, while he won the European Championships and the World Cup as international of Spain.
