Italian giants Juventus have enquired about Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ahead of the summer transfer window, says the Daily Express. The Italians are the next big team who will join the line of admirers for the Gabon striker. Aubameyang could be leaving Arsenal this summer after negotiations for a new deal have been successful.
Aubameyang’s current deal runs out at the end of next season and despite efforts from Arsenal to extend that deal earlier on in the season, negotiations have not taken place for weeks now. The former Borussia Dortmund striker recently warned Arsenal to make haste in their offer before it is too late.
The striker’s contract situation has alerted several European top clubs, including FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. And now Juventus have joined that list of admirers and have even made en enquiry about a possible transfer fee. It is stated that Arsenal could be demanding a €60m transfer fee, though it seems unlikely that clubs are willing to meet those demands for a player who is in his thirties and has a one-year contract.
