Real Madrid and FC Barcelona monitoring Guendouzi’s situation at Arsenal

According to le10sport, both FC Barcelona and Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on Matteo Guendouzi‘s situation at Arsenal. Reports claim that the young French midfielder is set to leave the London club after he misbehaved after the Gunners lost 2-1 to Brighton Hove & Albion past weekend.

After the game several Brighton players said Guendouzi was constantly bragging about his salary at Arsenal, while being disrespectful to his opponents. Shortly after the final whistle Guendouzi then had a bust-up with Neal Maupay, grabbing the Brighton forward by the throat. While the the midfielder avoided a suspension by the FA, it is believed that Mikel Arteta has had enough.

Barcelona and Real Madrid have been alerted by the possibility that Guendouzi could become available on the summer market. Despite his bust-ups and misbehavior at Arsenal, the two Spanish giants are still very interested in signing the 21-year-old. Guendouzi is still considered to be one of the biggest midfield talents in Europe and could be a real bargain if Arsenal decides to put him on the transfer list.
