The speculation of Thiago Alcantara leaving Bayern Munich this summer has taken a new step. Rumours of the Spaniard leaving the German club emerged last week and according to Bild the midfielder has already said goodbye to his Bayern team-mates in the dressing room making a transfer more likely.
The former FC Barcelona man has a contract until the summer of 2021 and it is believed that he does not want to sign a new deal. Bayern could accept bids anywhere between €60m and €80m. Premier League giants Liverpool and Manchester City are being put forward as interested clubs.
Another German outlet, Kicker, states that Bayern will be happy to accept bids for the injury prone Thiago and that they would like to use the funds to sign Bayer Leverkusen‘s wonderkid Kai Havertz. Thiago arrived from Barcelona in 2013 and has featured an impressive 230 times for the club.
