Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior has admitted he is a big admirer of his Belgian teammate Eden Hazard. The 19-year-old forward scored the opening goal for the Spanish giants in their 2-0 win over Real Mallorca on Wednesday. Following the win, Vinicius expressed his delight to have played alongside Hazard.
“I am very happy with my game, and enjoying my football,” as per post-match reports from Marca. “The team and Zidane help me a lot to improve. It is very easy to play with Hazard, and we connect a lot on the left side. This is the first time we have played together, and if Zidane wants to continue like that, we will play together.”
The Brazilian wonderkid has been involved in all four of Real Madrid’s games since the Spanish football season restarted earlier this month. He was in the starting line-up for the games against Real Sociedad and Mallorca. With the win Real also reclaimed top spot after losing it for a single day to FC Barcelona, who beat Sevilla 1-0 a day earlier.
