FC Barcelona have given midfielder Arthur Melo their permission to travel to Turin and undergo his medical with Juventus after this weekend’s game against Celta Vigo. El Mundo Deportivo claim that the Brazilian midfielder is all set to complete his move to Juventus after agreeing personal terms on Thursday.
As has been widely reported, the Brazilian’s reluctance to leave the Camp Nou has been the biggest stumbling block for the exchange deal being processed. However, in recent days Arthur’s stance has changed and he is now accepting the fact he will be playing for Juventus next season.
The report claims that Barcelona and Juventus have agreed a €70m deal for Arthur with Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic making the move to Spain for a reported €60m fee. The 30-year-old Pjanic joined Juventus from AS Roma in the summer of 2016 and has made 170 appearances in that timeframe, scoring 22 goals.
