Transfers for family members of Premier League manager and player

In the last two days, a Premier League manager and player have seen a family member of theirs make a transfer. Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhüttl’s son Patrick joins Unterhaching on a free transfer and Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris’ brother Gautier makes a permanent switch to Ligue 2 side Auxerre for an undisclosed fee.

Patrick Hasenhüttl, a 23-year old attacker, played in the German Regionalliga for Türkgücü this season. The Austrian played a big part in the promotion battle for the team from Munich, as he scored 13 goals in 23 appearances. Even becoming shared top goalscorer in the league. Due to his expiring contract, he joins Unterhacihng for free and will sign a two-year deal.

Hugo Lloris’ younger brother Gautier has signed a two-year deal with Auxerre. He joins Les Diplomates from OGC Nice, where he played his whole career so far. The central defender struggled to break through to Nice’ first team, only making 3 appearances in five seasons. Auxerre wasn’t the only team interested in the left-footed defender. Relegated LEMANS FC and Heracles, from The Netherlands, had made offers aswell.
