Erling Braut Haaland has revealed he has not intention of leaving Borussia Dortmund next season. The Norwegian powerhouse joined the Germans in a winter transfer from Red Bull Salzburg and has been impressing for Dortmund in both the Bundesliga and the Champions League. His excellent performances alerted several big teams, including Juventus.
“I live in the present,” Braut Haaland told WAZ regarding the future. “I have just arrived in Dortmund and I’m not thinking of leaving for now. Dortmund are one of the biggest clubs in the world. I have signed a long-term contract and I don’t think too much about the future,” he said.
“I decide what is the best thing for my career here and now. I want to achieve something important with Borussia, not always be second, but also win the title as soon as possible. The next year we set targets, we want to score as many goals, and I as a striker want to contribute.” Haaland reportedly has a €70m release clause in his contract.
