Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus are ready to fight a battle to sign Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik. The Polish forward has been targeted by both clubs for a summer move and according to Tutto Mercato Web, Juventus are currently in pole position to sign the former Ajax striker.
Juventus are actively looking for a striker this summer with Gonzalo Higuain possibly leaving the Bianconeri. Milik’s contract at Napoli will run out in 2021, making the forward an interesting signing for Juventus. Earlier Napoli and Milik negotiated a contract extension, but failed to reach an agreement.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are looking for a stand-in for Harry Kane. Jose Mourinho has targeted Milik as an ideal candidate to fill in that role. According to the report, Napoli could agree to sell Milik for a fee around €50m, a fee which should not be a problem for Tottenham. Juventus, however, could possibly add players to their offer to lower the price.
