Arkadiusz Milik could be on the verge of completing a move to Spanish giants Atletico Madrid. The Polish striker currently plays for Napoli and his current contract will run out at the end of next season. Negotiations between Milik an the club have not resulted in an agreement, which could force the forward on his way towards the exit at the San Paolo.
Juventus have been showing interest in Milik for some time now, but the Bianconeri do not have a good relationship with Napoli’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis which could trouble a potential move for Milik. Therefore Atletico could be the big winner in this hunt, as the club from the Spanish capital is willing to meet Napoli’s demands and pay up the requested €40m.
As it stands, Calcio Mercato report that Atletico has not made an official approach for Milik but it also states that there has been contact between the two sides. Atletico have made en enquiry for Milik at Napoli while they also had contact with Milik’s agent to talk about a potential move to the Spanish La Liga.
