Bayer Leverkusen boss Peter Bosz has high hopes Kai Havertz has not played his final game for the club despite interest from several big teams. Leverkusen still have the German cup final to play and they will face Rangers FC in the Europa League in August.
“I don’t feel that he is thinking too much about transferring. Neither are we”, Bosz told reporters. “I certainly don’t have the impression that this will be his last game for the club. He is still under contract with us and I have to assume that he will be with us next season too.”
“That will include the German Cup final next month and the next Europa League game against Rangers in August. Of course, that’s all dependent on nothing happening before then.” Bayer Leverkusen hold on to a €100m price tag on Havertz, who has attracted the interest of some of Europe’s leading teams including, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Chelsea.
