The transfers of Arthur Melo and Miralem Pjanic are ready to be completed. Both players successfully underwent a medical on Sunday and have both signed their new contracts. Arthur will move from FC Barcelona to Juventus, while Pjanic will move in the opposite direction.
Brazilian midfielder Arthur arrived in Turin on Saturday to undergo a medical. Due to flight limitations towards Spain, Pjanic was kept in Italy while Barcelona sent over their medical team along with Arthur. The Bosnian then underwent the medical at Juventus’ medical centre on Sunday.
RAC and Goal Italia report the the medicals did not show any problems and that the duo have already signed their new contracts. Arthur has agreed to a five-year deal with Juventus, worth €5.5m per season. There is not much information on Pjanic’s contract, but it is expected the former AS Roma midfielder will sign a three-year deal at the Camp Nou.
