Internazionale have added Sergio Aguero to their wanted list, reports Calciomercato. The Italians fear of losing Lautaro Martinez at one point this summer and have marked the Manchester City striker as a target for the summer transfer window. To convince City to sell their star striker, Inter are willing to add defender Milan Skriniar into the deal.
Man City are actively looking for a new central defender this summer and could be tempted to make a bargain deal for Skriniar if they include 32-year-old Aguero into the deal. The Argentinian is considered a club legend at City, but the club is also aware that the forward’s career is coming to an end. Also Aguero’s contract runs out in 2021 and there have not been any talks about a new contract.
Skriniar has been on Man City’s wanted list for two seasons now. The Slovakian centre-back is considered as one of the best defenders in the Italian Serie A but was always ‘too expensive’ for interested clubs. Inter ruled out any move for Skriniar by adding a €150m price tag on his shoulders. However, with the possibility of adding Aguero to the deal, Inter might be ready to accept a much lower bid for Skriniar.
