Manchester City have almost accepted that Leroy Sane will be leaving the club this summer. The German forward has reportedly told the club he wants to leave for Bayern Munich and it is believed the left winger has already agreed personal terms with the German giants. As a replacement for Sane Manchester City have found a replacement in the Premier League.
ESPN report that Burnley winger Dwight McNeil has been added to the shortlist of Pep Guardiola. The 20-year-old has made 33 appearances for The Clarets this season and has made quite the impression in the Premier League with two goals and six assists. McNeil’s current deal at Burnley runs out in 2023.
According to Transfermarkt, McNeil represents a value of €18m, which could mean Man City would have to triple that value for Burnley to sell their talented winger. McNeil has been capped for England at U21 level, playing three games since his debut in October 2019. In the past McNeil has been linked with moves to Manchester United and Arsenal.
