The proposed transfer of Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich is close to completion. German outlet BILD reports on Tuesday that Bayern and Manchester City have reached an agreement on a transfer worth around €45m, which could rise to €50m through a series of bonuses. The transfer should be confirmed within the next days.
The report claims that Bayern and Sane have already reached personal agreement on a five-year deal and that it is a matter of time before Sane will be presented as a Bayern Munich player. The German winger will fly to Munich on Thursday evening or Friday morning to undergo his medical with the club before signing his contract with the Bundesliga giants.
Sane joined Man City in 2016 from Schalke 04 and has made 90 appearances for the club, scoring 35 goals. This season his game time has been limited to 12 minutes due to an injury to his knee. Last Monday he made his first appearance of the season in City’s 5-0 trashing of Burnley.
