Manchester City could make a last-minute offer to sign Jack Grealish, reports The Telegraph. The report claims that Pep Guardiola could be tempted to sign the Aston Villa captain if Leroy Sane is sold to Bayern Munich this summer. With a possible bid on Grealish, City could try to beat their rivals Manchester United to sign the England international.
United have been interested in the Aston Villa star since the beginning of the season. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been looking for extra creativity on his midfield and wings and Grealish could be the ideal signing for United. Aston Villa value their star at €70m but could be forced to sell him for less if they are relegated from the Premier League.
Meanwhile, City are looking ahead to a future without Sane. While it is believed that City have tried to make a final and ultimate contract offer, the club have accepted that the German winger will leave the club this summer. Sane’s contract will expire next summer and for that reason City will have to sell the winger this summer.
