Cengiz Under is on the verge of completing a move to Napoli from AS Roma. According to La Repubblica, the Turkish winger has already agreed a multi-year deal at Napoli and will earn a €3m-a-year salary. Roma and Napoli are yet to agree on a deal, with talks over the deal on going.
Main problem is the valuation of the winger. Roma wants at least €30m for Under, while Napoli value him at no more than €25m. It is believed that Napoli has offered €20m plus Kevin Malcuit for Under, a deal which has been rejected by Roma. The Giallorossi are playing hardball and are not ready to lower their demands.
Meanwhile, Napoli are keen on signing a new winger this summer. The club bought Hirving Lozano from PSV last season, but the Mexican winger has not impressed Napoli boss Gennaro Gattuso. Jose Callejon is also reportedly leaving the club, which makes the urgency of signing a new winger even bigger.
