David Alaba‘s future at Bayern Munich is in serious doubt. According to Bild, the chances of the defender leaving the German giants this summer has become much greater. Bayern and Alaba have been talking about a new contract, but that there has not been any progress made in the negotiations.
The report claims that Alaba has not rejected Bayern’s new wage proposal, but that he rather wants to take on a new challenge and adventure outside of Germany. In recent weeks Alaba has been linked with moves to both the Premier League and the Spanish La Liga.
The 28-year-old has spent his entire professional career with Bayern, apart from a single season on loan at 1899 Hoffenheim. He made his debut in 2010 for the German giants and since then he has developed into a leading left-back, central defender and central midfielder in the Bundesliga.
