Leroy Sane is ready to join Bayern Munich from Manchester City, reports the BBC. The German has agreed terms with the Bundesliga champions and only has to undergo a medical to complete his move. The English outlet reports that Man City will receive a €50m fee, while it may rise to €60m through a series of bonuses.
The BBC also report on Sane’s proposed salary in Bavaria, which will be around the €23m-a-year mark. They believe this up to €7m higher than Man City’s ultimate offer to keep Sane at the Etihad recently. City will also receive a 10% sell-on clause if Bayern ever decides to sell Sane.
Although he will not be able to play for Bayern Munich until the next season, it is understood Sane will not be returning to Manchester and has played his final game for the club. At first it was thought he would travel to Munich before returning to City to finish the season in both the Premier League and the Champions League. The BBC, however, report that Sane will stay in Munich immediately.
