Internazionale boss Antonio Conte has requested his club to have a look at two of his former players at Chelsea, reports Gazzetta dello Sport. After the club already signed Victor Moses from the Blues last season, Conte has requested his club to sign Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri this summer, two players who have played under Conte at Chelsea.
Marcos Alonso was one of Chelsea’s key performers under Conte as the Italian lead them to the Premier League championship in his first season. Since then the Spaniard has featured in many games, but has failed to match his performances of the 2016/2017 season. It is believed Chelsea are ready to offload Alonso to generate funds for Leicester City‘s Ben Chilwell.
Conte has also requested his club to make a move for Emerson. The Brazilian full-back was signed from AS Roma during the 2018 January transfer window by Conte and the Italian now wants to reunite with him at Inter. It is believed that the Blues are keen on selling Emerson, who has made 19 appearances for the club this season.
