Hector Bellerin could be on his way towards the exit at Arsenal this summer. The Gunners decided to sign Cedric Soares on a permanent deal from Southampton and this could mean the end for Bellerin at the Emirates. According to Express, Bellerin has been placed on the shortlist by Paris Saint-Germain.
Soares spent the past season on loan at Arsenal and has recently signed a four-year deal with the club. The 28-year-old Portuguese has been involved in Arsenal’s past two games, collecting praise from Mikel Arteta. It could be possible that the Spaniard favours Soares ahead of Bellerin, also due to the injury history of his countryman.
Bellerin has a wide history of injuries at Arsenal, missing out on 12 Premier League games this season already. With the injury proneness of Bellerin, Arteta could decide to boost Arsenal’s spending power, especially now that Soares has signed a long-term contract at the Etihad.
Meanwhile, PSG are closely monitoring the situation of Bellerin at Arsenal and are ready to step in if the Gunners decide to sell the full-back. The report claims that Bayern Munich and Juventus are also having a closer look at Bellerin, who has made 11 Premier League appearances this season.
