Tammy Abraham requests contract talks after breakout season at Chelsea

Tammy Abraham has requested to discuss his current contract at Chelsea after the England striker had his breakout season at Stamford Bridge. The 22-year-old has made 24 Premier League starts this season and has now demanded a big wage hike. Reports claim Abraham wants the same wages as Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The young winger was handed a new bumper deal last season to keep him out of the hands of Bayern Munich. Hudson-Odoi has only made 7 starts for Chelsea this season due to several injuries, but Abraham is pointing out to Chelsea that he has had a much greater impact than his countryman.

The young England international has two years left on his current deal, which is worth around €55.000-a-week. Abraham has told Chelsea he wants to at least double those wages to €135.000-a-week if he is to stay at Chelsea. It is believed that Abraham wants to see the club’s movements on the transfer market before making a final decision on his future.
