Tottenham Hotspur are very interested in signing Arkadiusz Milik from Napoli this summer. The Polish forward will bring extra competition to the front side with Harry Kane missing a secondary striker behind him. Jose Mourinho has made Milik a primary target for the summer, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, Spurs lack the fund to meet Napoli’s demands.
The Italians value Milik at around €50m and for Spurs that is a bridge too far. It is believed that the English club now wants to use Lucas Moura as a make weight for the former Ajax forward, hoping to have Napoli lower their demands. With the Brazilian being valued at around €30m, Spurs could do business with a player plus cash deal.
Meanwhile, Milik is refusing to sing a new contract at Napoli, making his departure this summer very likely. There are several clubs interested in the services of the Poland international, including Juventus and Atletico Madrid. However, according to the Daily Mail, Spurs are currently ahead of the competition and would like to complete a speedy deal.
