Eden Hazard will be able to play for Real Madrid against Deportivo Alaves on Friday. The Belgian winger skipped training sessions on Wednesday and Thursday due to a knock on his ankle. However, Zinedine Zidane has confirmed that Hazard will be in Madrid’s squad to face Alaves as Real are looking to regain their four point lead over FC Barcelona.
“Hazard has felt some injury niggles, but it’s not a repeat of the same injury,” the coach said on Hazard’s injury during a press conference. “He has trained with us normally and I hope he can play these final four league matches with us and then also the Champions League.”
“He wants to be with us, he isn’t scared of a repeat of the injury. There are people with greater medical expertise than me and they know that it’s normal to have some pain after a match or a tough training session. He wants to help the team and will be with us tomorrow.”
