Paul Pogba might have given a major hint on his future. The Manchester United midfielder has admitted that he currently enjoys playing for the Red Devils following the return of his injury. The France international is forming a promising midfield duo with Bruno Fernandes since the Premier League returned after the coronavirus pandemic lockdown.
Pogba had a difficult season at Old Trafford, suffering a severe ankle injury which kept him from making more than two appearances since September. His absence fueled speculations for a possible summer move away from Manchester United. But ever since the Premier League has been resumed, Pogba has been playing a reborn.
“You can tell that the team is improving a lot,” the 27-year-old told United Review. “We play more as a team than we did before, we enjoy it even more, we defend together, we attack together, and this team is stronger as well.”
“From behind I just enjoy it. I’m enjoying just watching Bruno, [Marcus] Rashford, [Anthony] Martial and Mason [Greenwood], who all played the last game, and seeing them score goals. You just keep applauding, it’s beautiful… they make me enjoy football every time.”
