AC Milan have made a last-minute offer for Victor Osimhen, reports Football Italia. The Nigerian OSC Lille striker has been in talks with Napoli over recent weeks and it seemed likely that the forward would move to the South Italian club. However, it is now reported that Milan have made a last-minute offer.
Osimhen spent the past week in Naples, meeting with coach Gennaro Gattuso and President Aurelio De Laurentiis. While it has been suggested that Osimhen wanted time to consider all the options, it was widely expected that he would agree to move to Napoli soon. But with an offer from Milan, Osimhen could decide to reject the offer from Napoli.
Lille are demanding around €50m for Osimhen and the report states that Milan are preparing to offer the French club a player + cash deal for the striker. Osimhen has been one of Lille’s top performers this season, scoring 13 goals in 27 appearances in the Ligue 1. It is expected that Osimhen will decide on his future next week.
