Real Madrid face a heavy week in the La Liga, playing the final three games of the season in six days. Real will start on Monday with an away game at Granada, followed by a home game against Villarreal on Thursday and the final league game at Leganes on Sunday to finish off the season. Zinedine Zidane feels this will be the hardest week for Real this season.
“This is the last week, with three games surely it’s the hardest because it’s the end of the season but also the most important for us”, Zidane told reported on Sunday. “Each team has things at stake and we want to have a good game against Granada, put all our energy into tomorrow’s game without thinking about those to come in the week.”
“I don’t think there will be a lot of stress, there’s the obligatory tension and that is what helps us win games. What we like to do is train and play, it’s a great last week to play, starting with the game against Granada that’s the most important.” Real Madrid will need to wins to secure their first league title since 2017. If they beat Granada on Monday, they could crown themselves champions at home against Villarreal.
