Ajax wonderkid refuses to sign new contract amid Premier League interest

Brian Brobbey will not be signing a new contract at Ajax, reports Kick GH en Sports World Ghana. The 18-year-old striker has been touted as one of the biggest wonderkids in the academy of the Dutch giants and he could be on the move as he has rejected to extend his contract beyond 2021.

Brobbey is being represented by famous player agent Mino Raiola and the Dutch Italian is known for his hard bargaining strategy. It is believed that Raiola has demanded a high salary and playtime pathway for his client. Brobbey scored seven goals last season for Ajax’s second team in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.

The young striker, nicknamed Brobbeast because of his impressive physique, has been linked with a move to England for years. Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have all shown interest in Brobbey. But with Raiola as his agent, a possible move to Juventus would also be an option for the forward.
