Inter and Man United start negotiations for ‘unwanted’ Alexis Sanchez

Manchester United and Internazionale have been talking about Alexis Sanchez in recent days, claims Calciomercato. The Italians want to loan the Chilean forward for a second season and hope that Man United are willing to cooperate. It is believed that the Red Devils would be keen on ending their partnership with Alexis, but are more keen on selling the forward.

Alexis has been on loan at Internazionale this season, but the Italians are only paying €125.000 of his reported €400.000 salary at Old Trafford. United are actively looking to sell the former Arsenal and FC Barcelona forward as the club is hoping to clear out their massive wages this summer.

However, United are aware that Inter would not be able to meet Alexis’s wage demands and due to the high salary a loan extension seems more likely. Though United have reportedly made clear that they will not be paying the full €7m remaining on Alexis’s contract and expect Inter to pay more.
