Real Madrid are confident of landing Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain next summer. The Spanish giants plan to have a quiet transfer summer in 2020 after the club was hit hard by the corona crisis pandemic. Marca claims that Madrid are keeping the money they have left in their pockets to secure Mbappe next summer.
The young French winger’s contract will finish in the summer of 2022 and despite efforts from Paris Saint-Germain to extend that deal, Mbappe has yet to agree to these terms. With Mbappe stalling negotiations, Marca claims that the 21-year-old is ready to fulfill one of his childhood dreams next summer: joining Real Madrid.
Mbappe joined PSG three seasons ago and became the world’s most expensive teenager after AS Monaco accepted to receive €180m. In Paris Mbappe developed as a footballer, becoming one of the world’s best right forwards and forming a deadly attack alongside of Neymar and Mauro Icardi this season. While PSG are very reluctant to sell Mbappe, the French giants will be forced to sell him next summer if he refuses to sign a new contract.
