German club VfL Wolfsburg have signed highly rated US teenagers Bryang Kayo and Kobe Hernandez-Foster. The Bundesliga club has a wide history of signing American players and with the arrival of the two youngsters the number of Americans on the club’s books has gone up to five.
Kayo, who will turn 18 at the end of this month, is a midfielder and he has made a transfer from Orange County SC and will be joining Wolfsburg’s B-squad next season. Hernandez-Foster is an 18-years-old left full-back and he will link up with the U19 team at Wolfsburg after joining the club from LA Galaxy.
The two new Wolfsburg players competed alongside Borussia Dortmund attacker Gio Reyna at the FIFA U17 World Cup in Brazil last year. Ulysses Llanez, Michael Edwards en John Brooks complete the group of Americans at Wolfsburg. Llanez and Brooks are both full USA internationals, Edwards has yet to make his debut for Wolfsburg.
