Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Southampton‘s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg this summer and the Spurs are facing competition from Ajax and Manchester City for the Danish midfielder. Jose Mourinho’s side have now offered Southampton a player plus cash deal for the midfielder, including Kyle Walker-Peters into the deal.
The young English defender is currently on loan at St. Mary’s and Southampton are yet to decide whether they want to sign the young right-back on a permanent deal. Walker-Peters has featured in every single match since the return of the Premier League for Southampton, including four full matches as a starter.
Meanwhile Tottenham and Southampton will keep talking about the transfer of Hojbjerg. Spurs have reportedly made a €20m offer, but the Saints have valued their star midfielder at at least €27.5m. With Ajax and Manchester City lurking on the background, Tottenham are keen to wrap up the deal before the end of the season.
