Juventus are ready to intensify their push for Alexandre Lacazette, Le 10 Sport reports. The Italian giants are interested in landing the Arsenal forward and it is believed that Juve has held talks with the striker’s representatives. It is believed the 29-year-old is looking for a new adventure in his career and would be keen on a move to Juventus.
Lacazette joined Arsenal from Olympique Lyon three years ago in what was then a club record €60m deal. Despite the high fee, the France international has never enjoyed full confidence of Arsene Wenger, Unai Emery and Mikel Arteta. Even now Lacazette has been sidelined more than he favours with Eddie Nketiah being positioned as Arsenal’s striker.
Juventus are looking to strengthen their attack for next season with Gonzalo Higuain being the club’s only real centre-forward. The Bianconeri have also been linked with a move for Napoli‘s Arek Milik, but it is believed that Maurizio Sarri has requested to sign Lacazette instead. It is unclear if Arsenal are ready to sell the forward and if they do so, how much they would want for him.
