The chances Manchester United have to sign Jadon Sancho have been significantly slimmed down after Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has told there is no room for bargaining. The German giants want to receive €130m for the England international and will not accept any bids below their valuation.
United have been pursuing Sancho for the past couple of months, making the former Manchester City winger their main transfer target for the summer. However, the Red Devils are not able to meet Dortmund’s demands and hoped the Germans would be prepared to lower their demands and allow add-ons to be added into the deal.
But Zorc has now closed the door on any bargaining: “Jadon has a valid contract with us and we would be very happy if he is still with us next season. To think about anything else at all, the timing would have to be right, and secondly, our price expectations would have to be met 100%”, Zorc told German outlet Waz.
