Mario Balotelli has been offered a contract to join Serie C side Como. Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that the Indonesian owner of the club has made contact with Balotelli’s agent and is reportedly willing to accept the player’s financial demands.
A meeting between the club and the player has already taken place, and though the Serie C side has been the only club to have offered a contract, a deal seems unlikely. Balotelli is set to become a free agent as Brescia is reportedly working on terminating his contract this summer.
Despite the former Manchester City forward scoring five goals, his relationship with his manager, the club’s board and fellow players have soured in recent months. Earlier on Brescia announced that the striker was excluded from the first team’s training session. An exit looks to be a mere formality.
