Barcelona planning to offer 70m plus two players for Lautaro Martinez

FC Barcelona are refusing to give up on Lautaro Martinez. Despite the club declaring that they will not pursue the Argentinian this summer, rumours about a potential move have intensified. It is now believed that Barcelona are ready to offer €70m plus Junior Firpo and Arturo Vidal for the forward.

FCInternews reports that the Blaugranas are desperate to land the 22-year-old this summer after missing out on the La Liga. Internazionale are reluctant to allow their star forward to leave this summer but are ready to negotiate a deal if a club meets their €125m valuation. Earlier this month Martinez’s €111m release clause expired and Barcelona failed to bring an offer to the table before it expired.

Despite the clause expiring, Barcelona are currently readying a new offer for the forward. It is believed to be €70m plus two players. Left-back Junior Firpo and midfielder Arturo Vidal. The inclusion of Vidal would please Antonio Conte as the Italian has been chasing the midfielder for months. Adding the players to the deal would bring the total value at around €120m.
