Brazilian wonderkid is set to leave Real Madrid on a season long loan to Real Valladolid, reports Mundo Deportivo. The 18-year-old joined during the winter transfer window from Flamengo in a deal worth €30m and he has been playing for Real Madrid Castilla ever since. The club now want to test him in La Liga and feel that Valladolid would be the perfect club.
Madrid and Valladolid have an excellent relationship due to the fact that the club is owned by former Real Madrid and Brazil star Ronaldo Nazario Lima. This has made it well possible that Reinier will be given the chance to shine for Valladolid in next season’s La Liga campaign. The report claims that talks between the clubs over a possible player exchange have been started.
Another option in La Liga would be Real Sociedad. The Basque club has loaned Martin Odegaard this season and Madrid are very happy with the development of the young Norwegian. However, Reinier has already held talks with Ronaldo, who is one of his boyhood heroes, and he had decided he wants to move to Valladolid next season.
