Pep Guardiola is looking for a replacement for Leroy Sane after the German winger left Manchester City for Bayern Munich. Tuttosport has claimed that the Spanish boss wants to reunited with his former Bayern Munich protege Douglas Costa, who currently plays for Italian giants Juventus.
The Brazilian international is not a first team regular at Juventus and he would be keen on adding yet another top league on his tally after playing for Bayern in the Bundesliga and now the Serie A for Juventus. The Bianconeri would also be open to sell Douglas Costa but only if a club matches their €50m valuation.
Meanwhile Manchester City have also been linked with Valencia forward Ferran Torres. The Spanish U21 winger has reportedly agreed personal terms with City and could be travelling to England as soon as this week. It is unclear if Guardiola wants to sign Torres and Costa, though it seems unlikely seeing the club has made a new central defender their top priority for the summer transfer window.
