Sevilla have confirmed they have signed Suso on a permanent contract from AC Milan in a deal reported to be around €21m. Suso joined the LaLiga side on loan from Milan this season and now that they have qualified for the Champions League they have activated an obligated buy clause. Suso has signed a five-year contract at Sevilla.
The 26-year-old former Liverpool player joined Sevilla in January and has made 19 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist. Over the past few seasons Suso developed at Milan and became one of their star players. Due to the club’s financial state it was decided to send Suso on loan with a buy clause to Sevilla.
Earlier AC Milan completed the signing of Sevilla defender Simon Kjaer. The experienced centre-back joined the Italians in January on loan and became one of Stefano Pioli’s starters. Kjaer signed a permanent deal last week, completing a move that is worth around €3.5m.
