Gareth Bale not ready lower wage demands to seal Real Madrid exit

Gareth Bale is not prepared to lower his wage demands in order to find a new club. The Welsh winger has been frozen out of the first team at Real Madrid and his future at the club is uncertain. However, Bale is not willing to lower his demands and will try to see out his contract in Madrid.

On Monday Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett already insisted that his client is happy at Madrid and has no problems with head coach Zinedine Zidane, despite being dropped from the first team. According to Diario AS, the winger is determined to stay in Madrid and will not accept a pay cut to secure a move to a new club.

It appears that Bale will be staying at Real Madrid next season, unless a club wants to match his earnings at the Spanish giants and those are believed to be around €375.000-a-week. In the past Bale has been linked with a move to Manchester United or back to Tottenham Hotspur, but it seems unlikely that the English clubs will be prepared to match Bale’s Madrid salary.
